About Mapademics
Education and work are supposed to connect. In reality, they don’t speak the same language. Students complete programs without a clear picture of what skills they can apply in real careers. Institutions make high-stakes decisions without a shared, defensible way to describe what outcomes they actually produce. Employers see credentials, but struggle to understand what candidates can do. Everyone is acting in good faith. But without a common skills language, the system runs on assumptions instead of clarity. Mapademics exists to make skills the shared language between education, careers, and the labor market. We make skills visible, defensible, and usable - so decisions about curriculum, transfer, hiring, and workforce development are grounded in evidence instead of guesswork.
Skills is the common language between education and work
When curriculum, jobs, and people speak the same skills language, we can move from classrooms to careers with clarity and confidence.
Skills are not abstract signals.
They are concrete, inspectable evidence that should be visible to humans, not hidden inside black boxes.
Alignment only matters if people trust it.
If faculty, institutions, and employers cannot see how a decision was reached, they will not use it.
Curriculum is the most underutilized data asset in education.
When structured correctly, it can power transfer, workforce alignment, and outcomes at scale.
AI should augment institutional judgment, not replace it.
The goal is faster, better decisions, not automated authority.

A skills intelligence platform for education and work
Mapademics extracts, structures, and connects skills across curriculum, credentials, and jobs.
We translate syllabi, courses, programs, and job postings into a shared skills language. We link those skills to occupations, labor market data, and institutional outcomes. And we make the underlying evidence visible so teams can evaluate, approve, reuse, and defend decisions with confidence.
The result is a shared foundation for curriculum design, transfer articulation, workforce alignment, and hiring that actually holds up under scrutiny.
Used where the stakes are real
When Mapademics is in place, decisions get faster, more consistent, and easier to defend because everyone can see the same evidence.
Workforce and Labor Boards
Workforce partners connect employers to relevant talent without relying on fuzzy proxies.
Curriculum Development
Academic leaders analyze how programs align to in-demand jobs and where gaps actually exist.
Transfer Articulation
Transfer teams use skills-level justification to approve equivalencies and reuse decisions across institutions.

Built by people who have lived inside the problem
We've worked at the intersection of education, technology, and labor markets. We've seen how much effort goes into curriculum and how little of that effort translates into shared understanding.
We've sat in rooms where important decisions were delayed or derailed because the evidence wasn't visible or trusted.
This company exists because we were not satisfied with "that's just how it works." We built Mapademics because this problem is solvable, and because it matters.
We design for trust first
That means transparency over opacity, evidence over claims, and usability over novelty.
Correctness over speed
We move fast, but not at the expense of correctness. We build systems that invite scrutiny rather than avoid it.
No shortcuts that don't hold up
We say no to shortcuts that would make results look better but hold up worse.
Long-term confidence over short-term wins
We prioritize long-term institutional confidence over short-term wins.
Skills as the shared language for education and work
Our goal is simple: when decisions about education and work are made, skills should be the shared language.
In the coming years, we believe skills-level clarity will be foundational to how programs are designed, how transfer works, how credentials are evaluated, and how talent is identified. Mapademics is building the infrastructure to make that possible.
Not someday. Now.
